Guiding principle
Idein Inc. (“the Company”) conducts its business under the philosophy of “creating a software-defined world”. The information assets handled in the course of that business — beginning with our customers’ information — are of critical importance to the foundation of our management.
Everyone who handles our information assets, including directors and employees, recognises the importance of protecting those assets from risks such as leakage, damage and loss, complies with this policy, and carries out activities to maintain information security: the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets.
Basic policy
- To protect information assets, we establish an information security policy and related internal rules, conduct our business in accordance with them, and comply with laws, regulations and other norms relating to information security as well as our contractual obligations to customers.
- We define clear criteria for analysing and evaluating the risks of leakage, damage and loss to which information assets are exposed, establish a systematic risk assessment method, and carry out risk assessments periodically. Based on the results, we implement the security measures that are necessary and appropriate.
- We establish an information security structure centred on the responsible executive officer, and clarify authority and responsibility for information security. We also provide regular education, training and awareness activities so that all workers recognise the importance of information security and handle information assets appropriately.
- We periodically inspect and audit compliance with the information security policy and the handling of information assets, and promptly take corrective action on any deficiencies or improvement items identified.
- We take appropriate action against information security events and incidents. We establish response procedures in advance to minimise damage should they occur, respond promptly when they do, and take appropriate corrective action. In particular, for incidents that may interrupt operations, we establish a management framework and review it periodically so as to ensure the continuity of our business.
- We establish an information security management system with objectives for realising our guiding principle, operate it, and review and improve it continuously.
